Integration Setup

To integrate your MSG91 account with Siren for WhatsApp messaging, follow these steps:

Navigate to Providers

Go to the Providers section in your Siren dashboard.

Select WhatsApp Channel

Choose the WhatsApp channel from the available options.

Choose MSG91

Locate MSG91 in the list of providers and click on Add Account.

Fill in Account Details

In the pop-up window, enter the following details:
  • Custom Name: Provide a name for easy identification within Siren’s interface.
  • Auth Key: Your MSG91 authentication key (can be found in your MSG91 dashboard)
  • From (Sender ID): Enter the WhatsApp number or Sender ID registered with MSG91
  • Template ID: (Optional) Default template ID to use for messages

Webhook Configuration

  • Copy the provided Webhook URL from Siren
  • Log in to your MSG91 dashboard
  • Navigate to WhatsApp > Configuration
  • Paste the webhook URL in the callback/notification URL field
  • Save the configuration in MSG91

Save Configuration

Click Save to complete your MSG91 WhatsApp account configuration in Siren.
Note: Ensure that your WhatsApp templates are pre-approved in MSG91 before sending messages. Message delivery depends on template approval status.
