Mailgun Integration

Prerequisites

  • A Mailgun account
  • A verified sending domain in Mailgun
  • API Key with appropriate permissions

Integration Setup

To integrate your Mailgun account with Siren, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to Providers: Go to the Providers section in your Siren dashboard.
  2. Select Email Channel: Choose the Email channel.
  3. Choose Mailgun: Locate Mailgun in the list of providers and click on Add Account.
  4. Enter Account Details: A pop-up window will appear. Fill in the required information:
    • Custom Name: A name to identify this integration in Siren
    • API Key:
      • Log in to your Mailgun account
      • Navigate to Sending > API Keys
      • Create a new API key or use an existing one
      • Make sure it has the necessary permissions
    • Domain: Your verified sending domain in Mailgun
    • From Email: The email address that will appear as the sender (must be from your verified domain)
    • From Name: The name that will appear as the sender
    • Reply To: (Optional) Email address for replies
    • Content Type: Choose between Text/Plain or Text/HTML
  5. Save Configuration: Click Save to complete the setup.
