API Key

API (Application Programming Interface) key is a unique token key used to identify and authenticate applications or users. Once generated, it is important to save this key because this API key will be used to authenticate the end user whenever an API request comes from the user side.

Generate API Key

To generate an API key in Siren, follow these steps:
  • Log in to your Siren account.
  • In the left navigation pane, go to Settings > Configurations.
  • Select API Key from the dashboard.
  • Click on the + Add API Key button on the top-left.
  • In the modal that appears:
    • Enter a name for your API key.
    • Click Save.
  • Once saved, your API key will be generated and displayed only once. Make sure to copy and store it securely.
You can edit the API key name later, but you will not be able to view the actual key again.
Ensure you copy the API key immediately after it is generated. It will not be retrievable later.
